The Polish events scene is proving itself to be one of the strongest on the European map, combining a rich tradition of esports with new festival formats. Very soon, all fans’ eyes will turn to Poznań – first for June’s Pyrkon, which is an absolute celebration of fantasy, and then in the autumn for the anniversary 20th edition of the Poznań Game Arena (PGA), the country’s largest gaming fair. We will remember February 2026 as the moment when the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) left Katowice’s Spodek for the first time. The historic move to the TAURON Arena proved to be a resounding success – the modern facilities and high attendance confirmed that Kraków had become the new home for Counter-Strike fans.
April, in turn, saw the launch of a new event in Warsaw. The first edition of Replay Fest, regarded by many fans as the successor to Pixel Heaven, took place from 17 to 19 April. The event successfully carried on the legacy of the cult retro festival, combining a love of old computers with a modern indie scene and the gaming lifestyle.
